excellent idea seonadancing! i actually biked my way to work for some months about two years ago, when I was working in Eastwood and living in Katipunan. That time I was just doing it for exercise, but even then pala i was already helping nature in some way.

my aviary is just indoors as well(if you can call two 17x30's an aviary). ever since i started this hobby i've always thought of an aviary as a protected mini-zoo, which is not actually mini because it takes up a whole house lot. this image of it i probably got from kabayan noli de castro's features on his late early evening saturday show. i believe he also is a bird enthusiast? and if it's true then i hope to feature him here sometime, although that is nearly impossible considering he's probably the next president of the Philippines.

hehe that's a little off-topic. but again great idea seona. how about the others? what can you do to contribute in saving the environment? i wish you are as passionate with this as you are in making a price list, or contesting the DENR law.

I would bike to work if there was a bike lane from my house to my office. The write up regarding giving our Zebras 14 hours or 16 hours of light to simulate the breeding season is not necessarily true for me. I have zebras breeding and producing chicks every other month without the aid of this process. I don't use too much much energy on my aviary because even though it's indoors, i have windows around it that bring in natural light.

Our government should really be strict in impounding smoke belchers.
